An auto-entrepreneur card, a payment and active cover are not the same thing. Membership in the social security regime is a condition of auto-entrepreneur tax treatment, while actual rights depend on the file, contributions and current rules. Follow the journey to its end.

Four states to distinguish
- Correct RNAE registration and identity.
- Social registration or linkage found.
- Called contributions and periods visible.
- Payments allocated to the proper periods.
- AMO rights active on the check date.
- Dependants correctly declared where relevant.
- Anomalies reported under a case number.
- Evidence saved outside the portal.
1. Map the journey
Do not stop at the first confirmation message.
| Stage | Control question |
|---|---|
| Identity | Do ID or residence card and names match? |
| RNAE | Are status and activity active? |
| Linkage | Is the file recognised socially? |
| Contribution | Which basis and periods appear? |
| Payment | Was it allocated to the correct period? |
| Rights | Does the current check show active cover? |
A spelling or identifier mismatch can break the chain even after money left the bank.
2. Verify the current amount
Social-protection texts and parameters have evolved. Avoid contribution tables copied from old posts.
- Read the 2026 Tax Administration guide and current file.
- Identify the affected period.
- Read the basis and amount called.
- Compare with turnover declaration.
- Check allocation after payment.
- Ask for a written answer when they differ.
An informative simulation does not replace the official amount in the file.
3. Separate payment and rights
A debit, receipt and activation are three different pieces of evidence.
- Debit: shows money leaving the account
- Receipt: identifies the transaction to the body
- Allocation: links payment with a period
- Certificate: describes status on its issue date
- Right: confirms access under current conditions
Before important care, check current status through the competent channel rather than relying on an old certificate.
Never promise reimbursement
Active status or a paid contribution alone does not guarantee reimbursement of particular care. Rights, basket, tariffs, provider and date require checking.
4. Handle multiple situations
An entrepreneur may also be an employee, pensioner or covered on another basis. Do not decide which file cancels the other. Declare accurate facts and ask how links coordinate.
For a spouse, children or other dependants, prepare current evidence and verify their effective presence. Keep dates, references and replies.
BelloPOS does not collect, calculate or transmit social contributions. Social protection remains a personal official-channel file.
Mistakes to avoid
- Confusing registration with active rights.
- Using an old schedule.
- Not checking payment allocation.
- Assuming two covers merge automatically.
- Forgetting dependants.
- Keeping only an SMS.
Frequently asked questions
Is social cover linked to the tax regime?
Yes. The CGI lists social-security membership as a condition, implemented under current texts and procedures.
How much is the contribution?
Read the amount applying to your period and file in official channels; do not use an undated number.
Does payment activate rights immediately?
Not necessarily. Check allocation and actual rights status.
Can it coexist with employee cover?
A multiple situation must be declared and coordinated under current rules; seek CNSS confirmation.
Does BelloPOS manage CNSS?
No. It neither registers, calculates nor transmits contributions.
What to take away
Follow the entire chain: identity, linkage, assessment, allocated payment and observed rights, with dated evidence at every point.
