lacaisse.ma: pricing, modules and an honest comparison with BelloPOS

Base at 199 MAD excl. VAT, invoicing at 100, stock 100 to 400, WhatsApp and QR at 99, kiosk at 199. The real total for a common configuration, with VAT and over five years.

By BelloCommerce

·

lacaisse.ma publishes its entry price, 199 MAD a month, and the detail of its modules. That is more than many of their competitors do. What the page does not do is add it up, convert it to include VAT and project it over five years. This article does all three, then says honestly where they are the better choice.

The short answer

  • The entry price is 199 MAD excluding VAT a month, or 238.80 MAD including it, and covers the software, back office, updates, 7-day support and backups.
  • The modules: invoicing 100 MAD, stock management 100 to 400 MAD on request, WhatsApp 99 MAD, order QR 99 MAD, ordering kiosk 199 MAD, per month, excluding VAT.
  • A common configuration reaches 498 MAD excluding VAT a month, or about 35,900 MAD including VAT over five years.
  • Kitchen display, queue screen, QR menu and review QR are advertised as free. Many charge for these: credit to their offer.
  • BelloPOS Go is 9,000 MAD paid once, which the base offer passes in a little over three years.

The solutions compared

A complete Moroccan subscription platform against an offline till bought once. Both models have their logic, and the cost table below shows exactly where they cross.

lacaisse.ma

lacaisse.ma logo

A Moroccan till solution, sometimes searched for as « Ma Caisse » and served from macaisse.ma. The software is sold on a monthly subscription, with modules billed separately on top. The publisher also offers its own payment product, lacaissePay, and claims more than 2,200 customers.

BelloPOS

BelloPOS logo

Our Windows till software, built in Morocco. It runs 100% offline: no sale depends on the connection. The interface and the receipts exist in French, Arabic and English. Three tiers: Lite free for life, Go and Pro bought once, never subscribed to.

What it really costs over five years

All amounts are converted to include VAT, with no discounts. The « base + invoicing + stock + QR » line matches a realistic configuration for a business that invoices and tracks stock.

The amounts above are worked out from the public prices recorded on 27 July 2026, with VAT added where a price is quoted excluding tax, and with no commercial discount. For prices in dollars, the rate used: 1 USD = 9.4 MAD, recorded 27 July 2026. Redo the sum with the day’s prices before you decide: they move, and it is your money.

Two markers to remember. The base offer passes 9,000 MAD a little after three years, and the 498 MAD configuration passes it before the end of year two. Note also the uncertainty on the stock module: between 100 and 400 MAD excluding VAT a month, the five-year gap reaches 21,600 MAD. That is the first question to ask in the demo.

The modules in detail, and which you actually need

A detail that changes everything in a comparison: lacaisse.ma’s prices are quoted excluding VAT. 199 MAD excluding VAT is 238.80 MAD including it at 20%, and over five years the gap between the two readings is more than 2,300 MAD. This is not a criticism, quoting excluding VAT is normal in business-to-business selling. But if you compare their 199 MAD excluding VAT with a competitor’s 250 MAD including it, you are not comparing the same thing. Every amount in this article is converted to include VAT.

Here is each module, what it brings, and our frank view of how useful it is depending on the type of business.

  • Base offer, 199 MAD excl. VAT/month: The software, the back office, continuous updates, 7-day support and data backup. It is a decent foundation and the entry price is the lowest of the three Moroccan publishers in this comparison.
  • Invoicing module, 100 MAD excl. VAT/month: Essential if you invoice businesses or public bodies, pointless if you only issue till receipts. Ask yourself honestly: 100 MAD excluding VAT a month is 7,164 MAD including VAT over five years.
  • Stock management module, 100 to 400 MAD excl. VAT/month: The band is wide and the amount comes by quote. Get it spelled out, in writing, what puts you at 100 rather than 400, before you sign. It is the most uncertain line on the whole quote.
  • WhatsApp integration, 99 MAD excl. VAT/month: Worthwhile if part of your orders already arrive by WhatsApp, which is the case for many Moroccan businesses. Without that flow it is a subscription for nothing.
  • On-site order QR, 99 MAD excl. VAT/month: The customer orders from their table on their phone. Genuinely useful in cafes and terrace restaurants, where it saves trips back and forth. Of no interest to a retail shop.
  • Ordering kiosk, 199 MAD excl. VAT/month: For high-volume fast food. It is the most expensive and most specialised module; it only justifies itself with a real flow of customers ordering for themselves.

What they do well, and we do not

Four things are advertised as free on their features page and deserve pointing out, because they are often paid for elsewhere: the kitchen display, the queue screen, the digital QR menu and the customer-review QR. For a restaurant, the kitchen display is usually the dearest line on a quote. Finding it included is a real point in their favour (recorded 27 July 2026).

Beyond those four functions, two products in their catalogue deserve naming because we have no equivalent: the channel manager, which centralises multiple sales channels, and lacaissePay, their own payment solution. For a business selling across several channels and wanting to steer everything from one back office, that is a coherent proposition our offline till does not try to imitate.

The line to get in writing before signing

The stock management module is advertised between 100 and 400 MAD excluding VAT a month, with a quote on request. Over five years that range represents more than 21,000 MAD including VAT of difference, which is well over the price of a BelloPOS Go licence. Insist on the exact figure for your configuration, in writing, before any commitment, and ask what would move you from one tier to another over time.

How to choose: the twenty-minute method

Against a modular offer, the general method matters even more: it is your list of needs that sets the price, not theirs.

  • Count your real needs before you look at a single price. How many tills, how many users, do you invoice businesses, do you need stock, do you take delivery orders. Five answers, and half the offers rule themselves out. Our guide to choosing a till works through this questionnaire.
  • Test the checkout, not the demo. Ask to ring up ten items, one return and one split payment, yourself, and time it. A well-rehearsed demo tells you nothing about what your cashier will face on a Saturday.
  • Pull the internet cable and try to sell. That one test splits the whole market in two, and it takes thirty seconds. We go through it in detail in our offline or cloud POS comparison.
  • Ask for an export of your own data before you pay anything. Products, customers, sales, in a file you can open. If the answer is vague, you already know how this ends.
  • Add up five years, not one month. A subscription is compared with a one-off purchase over the time you will actually use it.
  • Check that the receipt prints correctly in Arabic before you commit. On a thermal printer that is not a given, and it takes a minute to see.
  • Ask who answers the phone on a Saturday at 8pm, and in which language. That is exactly when a till breaks.

What each solution does better

lacaisse.ma

Its functional breadth and what it gives away. The channel manager, the back office and lacaissePay make a coherent whole, and above all the kitchen display, the queue screen, the QR menu and the customer-review QR are advertised as free on their features page: elsewhere the kitchen display is often the most expensive line on the quote. For a restaurant that wants those four things immediately, that is a real point in their favour.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Remembering 199 MAD and budgeting on it. With two common modules you are close to double.
  • Forgetting VAT. All their prices exclude it, some competitors’ include it.
  • Accepting « between 100 and 400 MAD » for stock. Ask for the figure, not the band.
  • Paying for the WhatsApp module without WhatsApp orders. Check first where your orders actually come from.
  • Not using what is free with them. If you take their offer, switch on the kitchen display and the QR menu from day one, they are included.

Frequently asked questions

What does lacaisse.ma cost?

The base offer is 199 MAD excluding VAT a month, or 238.80 MAD including it. On top come modules: invoicing 100 MAD, stock management 100 to 400 MAD on request, WhatsApp integration 99 MAD, order QR 99 MAD and ordering kiosk 199 MAD, per month, all excluding VAT (recorded 27 July 2026).

What does a full configuration cost over five years?

A base plus invoicing plus entry-level stock plus QR configuration reaches 498 MAD excluding VAT a month, or about 597.60 MAD including VAT, or 35,856 MAD over five years. The base offer alone comes to about 14,300 MAD over the same period.

Are their prices excluding VAT?

Yes, they are quoted excluding VAT on their features page. Add 20% to compare with a VAT-inclusive price. It is the single most important precaution in this whole comparison.

What is included at no extra cost?

Their page advertises the kitchen display, the queue screen, the digital QR menu and the customer-review QR as free. That is particularly interesting in food service, where the kitchen display is often charged for elsewhere.

At what point does buying once cost less?

Against the base offer at 199 MAD excluding VAT, BelloPOS Go at 9,000 MAD becomes cheaper a little after year three. Against a 498 MAD configuration, before the end of year two.

Can I migrate from lacaisse.ma to BelloPOS?

Yes, by first requesting an export of your products, customers and sales history, before any cancellation. Our Go and Pro tiers include help loading the catalogue, up to 1,000 products and 100 categories with Pro.

Our recommendation

Take lacaisse.ma if you want a broad, modular platform and a subscription does not bother you. The 199 MAD entry point is the lowest of the three Moroccan publishers compared in this series, and what they include free for food service is genuinely generous.

Get the stock line pinned down before signing. It is the one place where a quote can vary by 21,000 MAD over five years, and nobody will tell you if you do not ask.

Take BelloPOS if you want a finite cost and a till that does not stop. Lite is free for life to start with, Go at 9,000 MAD covers an established business, and no bill comes back the following month.
