Clyo Systems is a French POS suite built chiefly for restaurants: a Windows till, floor plan, kitchen production, mobile ordering, kiosk, online ordering, and multi-establishment centralisation. Its direct trial page displayed 14 days with no payment card on 6 August 2026. Morocco appears in its reseller network, but the public page names neither a Moroccan partner nor a local response time. Clyo therefore deserves a written proposal when you need its ecosystem. For one Windows restaurant mainly needing tables, a kitchen screen, and local-network terminals, BelloPOS Pro is a narrower alternative to test.

In brief
- Clyo Systems and Cyllo are not the same product. This page covers the restaurant and retail POS publisher.
- The download page displays a 14-day free trial with no payment method. Another official page still says 45 days, so confirm the term you receive.
- The trial till installs on Windows. Clyo Mobility on Android is a connected ordering and payment terminal, not proof that the whole till is mobile.
- Clyo is the richer choice for digital and multi-establishment work once the Moroccan reseller, modules, network, and full cost are verified.
- BelloPOS Pro fits the simpler local scope: tables, servers, kitchen, and several terminals inside one Windows establishment, without web ordering or multi-site cloud.
1. What does the Clyo free trial actually include?
Our restaurant POS guide already defines the operational need. The Clyo trial tests that promise against your menu, deals, and hardware. The direct page requested a name, email, and phone number without a payment method, then offered a Windows installer with demo data for restaurants, fast food, bakeries, retail, and beauty.
| Check | What Clyo displayed on 6 August 2026 | Practical decision |
|---|---|---|
| Duration | 14 days on the download page; a ‘45-day free trial’ button remained on the reseller page | Keep the confirmation you receive and the end date shown inside the software |
| Payment | No payment method requested for the direct download | A trial is not a permanent licence; request the post-expiry terms |
| Platform | Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11 listed for the demo software | Test the planned Windows version with admin rights and the real printer driver |
| Content | Till, statistics, settings, stock, and customer relations with sector data | Replace samples quickly with twenty products, five tables, and three real roles |
| Connected products | Mobility, kitchen, kiosk, and digital products shown in the ecosystem | Identify what is active in the trial and what needs a licence, hardware, or service |
Do not judge it from the sample sale alone. Build a bill with a modifier, table transfer, split, authorised void, kitchen send, and close. A video or disabled control does not prove that a module belongs to your package. Ask the seller to map every retained function to a proposal line.
2. Where Clyo goes beyond a local till
Clyo does not sell only a checkout screen. Its pages and help centre describe a restaurant flow from floor plan to production, covering dine-in, takeaway, and delivery. The plan tracks tables; orders can reach production printers or screens; bills support splitting, transfer, and several tenders.
- Dining room: Floor plan, tables, servers, covers, mobile ordering, and bill transfer support table service.
- Kitchen: Production printers, course coordination, and KDS/ODS connect sales to preparation. Our kitchen display guide helps test timing, recalls, and corrections.
- Digital: Online ordering, order at table, kiosk, menu, and booking are presented as connected products or modules, not implicit free features.
- Management: Stock, recipes, customers, loyalty, reporting, and permissions extend checkout according to the selected offer.
- Mobility: Clyo Mobility runs on Android for ordering connected to the central till; the main demo remains documented on Windows.
- Network: Centralisation shares catalogue, customers, stock, and staff and aggregates sales. Each outlet retains a licence and technical configuration.
That final point is a genuine distinction. The documentation describes a head office, local databases, network ports, periodic exchanges, and diagnostic logs. A restaurant group should compare that architecture with our multi-site POS and franchise guide, with a named owner for updates, security, and recovery.
Depth has a cost. The offer combines licences, options, hardware, and services. The pricing page presents a subscription, excludes hardware from displayed amounts, and requires a licence for every point of sale. The useful price is therefore the full proposal for your real workflow, not one monthly tile.
3. A test protocol before signing in Morocco
Treat the till as a production workstation. Our offline versus cloud POS comparison supplies the outage scenario; add dining room, kitchen, accounts, exports, and reseller support. Have the operations owner sign the result.
- Describe the offer. List the licence per establishment, modules, hardware, setup, training, travel, support, updates, and data exit.
- Run a real service. Load twenty products, five tables, two production printers, and three roles; simulate rush, void, outage, and split bill.
- Disconnect what can fail. Internet, Wi-Fi, main till, and kitchen screen are different failures. Record what continues, waits, and resumes.
- Approve local hardware. Printer, drawer, router, pad, KDS, and payment terminal need a reference, driver, replacement, and owner. Use the POS hardware guide sheet.
- Print your documents. Validate currency, taxes, identity, numbering, languages, and exports with the accountant on Moroccan examples, not a French certificate.
- Restore and export. Require a tested backup, recovery target, and readable sales, product, customer, and stock exports before dependency grows.
- Name support. Request the Moroccan reseller’s name, city, hours, remote process, response time, publisher escalation, and out-of-plan cost.
| Test | Expected evidence | Blocking failure |
|---|---|---|
| Dining-room and kitchen rush | Timestamped orders, visible changes, and exact bill | Lost or duplicated dish, or correction without traced permission |
| Internet or Wi-Fi outage | List of continuing functions and recovery queue | Service stops with no documented manual mode |
| Workstation failure | Timed restore on a spare machine | Backup cannot restore or one person alone holds access |
| Multi-establishment | Catalogue, sales, and stock synchronised to written scope | Silent conflict, exposed port without owner, or outlet absent from report |
| Supplier exit | Exports, installers, accounts, and recovery terms | Useful data exists only inside an inaccessible interface |

Disclosure: BelloCommerce publishes BelloPOS
We publish BelloPOS and benefit if you download it. Clyo remains more credible than BelloPOS for online ordering, kiosks, Android mobility, and multi-establishment centralisation. BelloPOS Pro should be retained only when those components are out of scope and a Windows restaurant prefers a bounded local installation. Compare both on the same test service and full cost.
4. Is Clyo genuinely available in Morocco?
The official reseller page names Morocco among several French-speaking countries. That is a positive commercial signal, but on 6 August 2026 it did not publish a Moroccan partner’s name, city, or hours; only an Algerian reseller was detailed. Ask for a written identity and commitment. Likewise, a payment terminal or partner presented in France does not prove a local bank integration. Our Morocco payment-methods guide separates recording ‘card’ from connecting the terminal.
NF525 certification answers a French framework. It may demonstrate work on integrity and archiving, but it is neither Moroccan tax approval nor an automatic configuration of your documents. Have taxes, invoices, receipts, exports, and retention checked by the appropriate professionals for your business.
Finally, no official page we reviewed lets us confirm that the complete interface and receipts are available in Arabic. Test labels, right-to-left text, and printing before promising a bilingual till. BelloPOS supplies French, Arabic, and English, but that language advantage does not replace Clyo’s digital ecosystem.
- Get from the seller: Contracting entity, local reseller, licence, modules, hardware, setup, support, taxes, and exit conditions.
- Get from the technician: Network map, accounts, ports, backup, restore, updates, logs, and spare machine.
- Get from the accountant: Document settings, taxes, numbering, exports, and evidence to retain for the actual activity.
5. Clyo Systems or BelloPOS Pro: which should you choose?
The products do not promise the same scope. Clyo assembles a restaurant and digital suite with subscription, options, and assisted deployment. BelloPOS Pro is proprietary Windows till software, bought once for one establishment and its local network. The right alternative depends on what you can remove from the requirements.
| Criterion | Clyo Systems | BelloPOS Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Commercial model | Software subscription; hardware outside displayed prices; modules and deployment by offer | Proprietary licence bought once for one Windows establishment |
| Trial | Direct download displayed as 14 days without a card, with a 45-day inconsistency to confirm | Lite free for life to test the core; restaurant functions belong to Pro |
| Platform | Main till documented on Windows; connected Clyo Mobility on Android | Windows for the till and local terminals |
| Restaurant | Dining room, production, mobility, delivery, and broader digital modules | Tables, servers, kitchen screen, and local terminals, without web ordering |
| Multiple sites | Documented centralisation and custom offer; separate licence per outlet | No cloud synchronisation between establishments |
| Digital | Kiosk, online and at-table ordering, menu, and booking by module | No native kiosk, booking, or ecommerce |
| Languages | French visible; complete Arabic not verified in reviewed sources | French, Arabic, and English interface and receipts |
| Best profile | Restaurant or group wanting an integrated ecosystem and contracted rollout | One Moroccan restaurant wanting a bounded local Windows till |
Choose Clyo if web ordering, kiosk, an Android server app, or multiple establishments remain mandatory and a reseller confirms their operation in Morocco. Test BelloPOS Pro if you have one Windows restaurant, a dining room, kitchen, printers, and local terminals without a digital project. Lite lets you download the core free before deciding. BelloPOS replaces neither Clyo Digital, a centralised franchise, an ERP, nor a certified integration with your acquiring bank.
Mistakes to avoid
- Confusing Clyo with Cyllo. Check clyosystems.com and the product name on the proposal.
- Promising a 45-day trial. The direct page said 14 days; only the confirmation after signup resolves the public inconsistency.
- Calling the whole till mobile. The main workstation is documented on Windows; Android notably serves Clyo Mobility.
- Turning ‘network in Morocco’ into guaranteed support. Request the partner, city, hours, and contractual response time.
- Putting every module in the base price. Separate licence, outlet, stock, digital, KDS, pad, hardware, and services.
- Choosing BelloPOS for a digital franchise. It lacks the centralisation, kiosks, and web ordering described by Clyo.
Frequently asked questions
Does Clyo Systems offer a free trial?
Yes. On 6 August 2026, the download page displayed 14 days without a payment method. A reseller page still displayed 45 days, so retain the term confirmed after signup instead of promising the longer number.
Does Clyo run on Mac, Android, or Windows?
The demo and main installation are documented for Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11. Clyo Mobility is a connected Android application for ordering and some payments. We did not verify a main macOS till.
Is Clyo Systems available in Morocco?
The official reseller page includes Morocco in its French-speaking network, but named no Moroccan partner or local response time on 6 August 2026. Request the reseller identity, contract, modules, and support before concluding.
Can Clyo manage several restaurants?
Yes. The publisher documents centralisation that shares products, customers, and stock and aggregates sales. Its offer page says each outlet needs a licence; validate architecture, security, and recovery.
Clyo or BelloPOS Pro for a restaurant?
Clyo is better placed when online ordering, kiosks, Android mobility, or several establishments are required. BelloPOS Pro fits the narrower case of one Windows restaurant needing tables, kitchen, and local terminals without a digital ecosystem.
Does BelloPOS Pro include online ordering?
No. BelloPOS Pro includes no web ordering, kiosk, online booking, or franchise synchronisation. Its recommendation here applies only to a simpler local restaurant till.
What to take away
Clyo Systems is the functionally stronger choice for a restaurant connecting dining room, kitchen, mobility, digital sales, and several establishments. Its Morocco fit still depends on a named reseller, full proposal, local payments, and a recovery test. BelloPOS Pro is our alternative for the smaller case: one Windows restaurant wanting offline tables and kitchen without funding or administering the digital components. Download the free core first and test the same service.

Test the service, not the sales presentation
Download BelloPOS Lite free, load a small menu, and validate sale, print, and close without internet. If mobility, kiosk, web ordering, or multi-site remain essential, request a Clyo demo with those exact modules and choose from evidence.
