Offline behaviour deserves a precise test. Odoo 19 says its POS is built to maintain functionality through temporary network outages; that does not turn the whole ERP into an unlimited local application. Odoo also explains that required dependent apps may be included with the chosen app. Check your exact configuration before launch nevertheless: adding an independent app, requiring custom code or choosing another hosting route can change the plan and the implementation.

For restaurants, Odoo 19 officially documents floor plans, order processing and transfers, kitchen or bar notifications, bill printing and splitting, tips, booking, preparation displays and self-ordering.
