In a restaurant, a till is not judged on its feature list but on what it does at nine on a Friday night, with a full room and delivery orders landing. Caisse Manager has two real answers to that: a waiter app at 60 MAD a month and delivery orders that arrive in the till by themselves. Here is what that is worth, what it costs, and where the limit sits.

The short answer
- Their waiter app at 60 MAD a month is a good product at a good price: order taking on a phone, synced in real time with the till.
- Glovo, Yassir and Done arrive straight in the till. For a restaurant doing volume on delivery that is the decisive argument, and we do not match it.
- A realistic total is 410 MAD a month with the till, mobile and advanced stock, or 24,600 MAD over five years.
- BelloPOS Pro at 40,000 MAD brings the restaurant module, kitchen display, table management and networked terminals, paid once. That is a substantial amount and we are not hiding it.
- The dividing line is simple: lots of delivery, take them. Lots of table service, a temperamental connection and a long view, take us.
The solutions compared
Both products can hold a service. They do not do it in the same place: one excels on orders coming from outside, the other on what happens inside the walls, even when the connection drops.
Caisse Manager
A Moroccan till software sold as a monthly subscription with no commitment, in three blocks: the till, the mobile app for waiters and advanced stock management. Its site claims more than 3,000 shops equipped and highlights its CMI, Odoo, Brehm, Glovo, Done and Yassir integrations.
BelloPOS
Our Windows till software, built in Morocco. It runs 100% offline: no sale depends on the connection. The interface and the receipts exist in French, Arabic and English. Three tiers: Lite free for life, Go and Pro bought once, never subscribed to.
The comparison, criterion by criterion
The criteria that matter to a restaurant, in the order service imposes them.
| The criterion | Caisse Manager | BelloPOS |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing model | 250 MAD/month for the till, + 60 MAD waiter app, + 100 MAD advanced stock. | Lite free for life. Pro 40,000 MAD once, restaurant module included. |
| Table-side ordering | Dedicated waiter mobile app at 60 MAD/month. Real-time syncing advertised. | Web cashier app and networked terminals on Pro. |
| Table management | Not detailed publicly on their site. | Table management included in Pro’s restaurant module. |
| Kitchen display | Not publicly advertised at this date. | Kitchen display included in Pro. |
| Delivery orders | Glovo, Yassir and Done synced into the till. This is their strength. | No Glovo or Yassir integration. Handled separately. |
| Card payments | CMI connection advertised. | Separate bank terminal, as with most Moroccan businesses. |
| Works offline | Not stated. Test it during the free month. | Yes, 100% offline. Service continues when the connection drops. |
| Receipt languages | Not stated for Arabic. | French, Arabic, English in print. |
| Reporting | Advanced dashboard, real-time sales reports. | Analytics dashboard, Telegram and email reports, per-user activity reports on Pro. |
| Who it suits | A restaurant or fast-food outlet where a serious share of sales comes through delivery. | A table-service restaurant, cafe or patisserie that wants control of the service and independence from the internet. |
What it really costs over five years
A restaurant rarely takes the till alone. Here are the two realistic scenarios, against our two relevant tiers.
| The solution | Over 1 year | Over 3 years | Over 5 years |
|---|---|---|---|
| BelloPOS Lite (free for life) | 0 MAD | 0 MAD | 0 MAD |
| BelloPOS Pro (40,000 MAD, once) | 40,000 MAD | 40,000 MAD | 40,000 MAD |
| Caisse Manager, till only (250 MAD/month) | 3,000 MAD | 9,000 MAD | 15,000 MAD |
| Caisse Manager, till + stock + mobile (410 MAD/month) | 4,920 MAD | 14,760 MAD | 24,600 MAD |
The amounts above are worked out from the public prices recorded on 27 July 2026, with VAT added where a price is quoted excluding tax, and with no commercial discount. For prices in dollars, the rate used: 1 USD = 9.4 MAD, recorded 27 July 2026. Redo the sum with the day’s prices before you decide: they move, and it is your money.
The honest comparison is not 410 MAD against 40,000 MAD, it is 24,600 MAD against 40,000 MAD over five years, and then 49,200 MAD against 40,000 MAD over ten. In other words: the subscription is cheaper up to roughly eight years, and dearer beyond. If your restaurant has just opened and you do not know where you will be in three years, the subscription is the prudent choice, and we will say so. If you have been in the same premises for ten years, the reading reverses.
One service, minute by minute
The best way to compare two restaurant tills is to follow a service. Here is what happens, and where each solution helps or gets in the way.
- 7.30pm, the room fills. The waiter takes orders. With Caisse Manager’s mobile app they key it in at the table and the kitchen has it immediately. Without a waiter app they write on a pad and walk back to the till: twice the steps and misread handwriting.
- 8pm, the kitchen saturates. This is where a kitchen display changes the evening: orders appear in order, get struck off once served, and nobody hunts for a ticket that fell on the floor. BelloPOS Pro includes one; it is not publicly advertised on their side.
- 8.30pm, the delivery orders land. With the Glovo and Yassir integrations they appear in the till with nobody copying them across. Without an integration, somebody retypes, and that is exactly where the evening’s mistakes are born.
- 9pm, a table asks to split the bill. A split payment takes seconds on a till that expects it, and five awkward minutes on one that does not. Test this exact point during the trial.
- 9.15pm, the line drops. On an offline till nobody notices. On a cloud till the service stops while the room is full. This is the scenario every Moroccan restaurateur has lived through at least once.
- Midnight, cashing up. The service is compared: sales per waiter, per dish, per payment method. Both solutions do this, and it is the moment reports serve a purpose beyond decoration.

Their waiter app deserves credit
At 60 MAD a month, Caisse Manager’s waiter mobile app is one of the best-placed lines in this comparison. Their page describes it as “perfect for restaurants and cafes”, with order taking on mobile, real-time syncing with the till, time saved for the team and fewer keying errors. At that price it is hard to criticise.
Our candour on this has a limit worth stating too: 60 MAD a month is 3,600 MAD over five years for that one block, and real-time syncing assumes the dining room’s wifi holds. Those are two reservations, not a rebuttal: the product is good and the price is fair.
The test that matters most in a restaurant
Ask to run this test during the free month, on a quiet day, with your floor manager: open three tables, key in twelve items, transfer one table to another, split a payment in two, cancel a dish already sent to the kitchen, then pull the internet cable and try one more sale. That run takes ten minutes and will teach you more than three demos. Do it on every till you are considering, ours included.
How to choose: the twenty-minute method
For a restaurant, add the three points after the list below to the general test.
- Count your real needs before you look at a single price. How many tills, how many users, do you invoice businesses, do you need stock, do you take delivery orders. Five answers, and half the offers rule themselves out. Our guide to choosing a till works through this questionnaire.
- Test the checkout, not the demo. Ask to ring up ten items, one return and one split payment, yourself, and time it. A well-rehearsed demo tells you nothing about what your cashier will face on a Saturday.
- Pull the internet cable and try to sell. That one test splits the whole market in two, and it takes thirty seconds. We go through it in detail in our offline or cloud POS comparison.
- Ask for an export of your own data before you pay anything. Products, customers, sales, in a file you can open. If the answer is vague, you already know how this ends.
- Add up five years, not one month. A subscription is compared with a one-off purchase over the time you will actually use it.
- Check that the receipt prints correctly in Arabic before you commit. On a thermal printer that is not a given, and it takes a minute to see.
- Ask who answers the phone on a Saturday at 8pm, and in which language. That is exactly when a till breaks.
- Split a payment and transfer a table yourself, not by watching someone else do it.
- Check what happens when the kitchen cancels a dish already sent. That is the case that reveals the quality of restaurant software.
- Count the cost of tablets and kitchen printers in your budget, not just the software.
What each solution does better
Caisse Manager
Its delivery and payment integrations. Automatic syncing of Glovo and Yassir orders into the till, the CMI connection and the Done link are real products solving a real problem: a restaurant doing volume on delivery otherwise spends its evening retyping orders from a tablet. We offer no equivalent, and for a business where delivery is a large share of turnover that is a serious argument in their favour. Their 7-day support and the absence of any commitment also count in their credit.
Mistakes to avoid
- Buying a delivery module when delivery is under 10% of turnover. The argument is excellent, but it has to apply to you.
- Forgetting the dining room’s wifi. A waiter app is worth nothing if coverage stops at the terrace.
- Not testing split payments. It is the most frequent request on the floor and the worst-implemented function on the market.
- Choosing without seeing a printed kitchen ticket with real dish names, in Arabic if your kitchen staff read Arabic.
- Reasoning from the price of your opening month rather than the cost of service across the restaurant’s life.
Frequently asked questions
Is Caisse Manager suitable for a restaurant?
Yes, particularly if you do delivery. Their waiter mobile app at 60 MAD a month covers table-side ordering, and their Glovo, Yassir and Done integrations bring orders straight into the till. It is a coherent package for a Moroccan restaurant selling both in the room and on delivery.
What does Caisse Manager cost for a restaurant?
A realistic configuration combines the till at 250 MAD, the waiter app at 60 MAD and advanced stock at 100 MAD, or 410 MAD a month. That is 4,920 MAD a year and 24,600 MAD over five years (prices recorded 27 July 2026).
Does it offer a kitchen display?
It is not publicly advertised on their site as of 27 July 2026, and we will not assert it on their behalf: ask them directly. BelloPOS Pro includes the kitchen display, table management and the restaurant module.
What happens if the internet drops mid-service?
With BelloPOS, nothing: the software is entirely offline and service continues. For a cloud till the answer depends on the publisher and its degraded mode. It is the most important question to ask before signing, and the test takes thirty seconds.
When should you prefer BelloPOS Pro?
When the dining room outweighs delivery, when your connection is unreliable, when you want a kitchen display and table management without a monthly bill, and when your restaurant is settled for the long run. Over ten years, 40,000 MAD paid once comes to less than 410 MAD a month.
Can you use both?
It is rarely a good idea for the till itself: two checkout systems mean double entry and two versions of the truth about stock. An offline till at the counter plus a dedicated online ordering platform, on the other hand, is a combination that works well, and we give it its own article.
Our recommendation
Heavy delivery: Caisse Manager. Glovo, Yassir and Done arriving in the till by themselves remove the retyping and the peak-hour mistakes. Add their waiter app at 60 MAD and you have a coherent package at 410 MAD a month. It is the right choice for that profile and we say so without reservation.
Table service, temperamental connection, long view: BelloPOS Pro. Restaurant module, kitchen display, table management and networked terminals, paid once, with a service that keeps going when the line drops. 40,000 MAD is a real sum; spread over ten years of service it is less than the subscription.
Opening and not sure yet: start with BelloPOS Lite. Free for life, offline, it lets you discover how you actually work for six months before committing a single dirham. You will then choose knowing what you need.
